  Vashon Sheepdog Classic

Are dogs welcome at the Vashon Sheepdog Classic?

We love dogs but this is also a competition for cash and prizes.  Handlers have traveled from all over the USA and Canada to compete.  We allow dogs as long as they do not interfere with the competition and the experience of other spectators.  Unruly or disruptive dogs be sent home.  Please do not bring a dog who barks or doesn't love EVERYONE.

You will be asked to sign a release at entry confirming your dog is friendly and approachable by adults and children. They are UTD on vaccinations, they are quiet, and well behaved.  Dogs who are excited, lunging, barking, in fun or not, will be asked to leave the event.  This is a top level competition and any type of disturbance from non competitive dogs is not allowed (including playing fetch or with toys during the event).

If you feel your dog can sit quietly with you and meets the above criteria then we welcome them.

Dogs can be asked to leave at any time if there is a disturbance.
