We are looking forward to another exciting year of sheepdog competition at the 2011 Vashon Sheepdog Classic. Again we will be using the challenging sheep supplied by Harlow Sheep Company of Milton-Freewater, OR.

Misty Isle Farms has many beautiful fields and this field has some very interesting terrain that will offer up a big challenge for our handlers and great spectating for our visitors.

Camping Information: Parking for trailers is available, but limited, at the trial site. Overflow parking is available at the Vashon Equestrian Park which is one mile away from Misty Isle Farms.

Lavender Hill Farm welcomes sheepdog classic participants and spectators. This 6 bedroom, 3 bath 1930's farmhouse situated on the Burton Hill overlooking Quartermaster Harbor and Mt. Rainier is available for weekly or weekend rental. A gourmet kitchen, fireplace, gardens, as well as flat screen TVs, cable, wifi and two large tables for outdoor and indoor dining await our guests. All linens, towels and necessities provided. Well-behaved dogs permitted with approval. The farm sleeps up to 14 guests.

Swallow's Nest
The Swallow's Nest affords travelers the opportunity to sojourn in a peaceful, country retreat. Eight charming cottages in four separate locations are furnished in a comfortable, warm, manner with plants, a rocking or arm chair, television, light cooking facilities, books, magazines, and a supply of tea, cocoa and fresh coffee.
