How to get there...
Our ferries have room for trailers of all sizes and heights.
We recommend the Tacoma or Seattle ferries as the Southworth boat will require you to back your rig down a small dock and back onto the ferry. If you enjoy a trailer challenge...this is for you!

Directions:
Vashon Island is located between Tacoma and Seattle. You can catch a ferry from the Fauntleroy dock in West Seattle, the Point Defiance dock in Tacoma, or the Southworth dock in Port Orchard... Ferry rates are roundtrip to Vashon.

From the South:
I-5 North to Highway 16
Take the Pearl Street/Hwy 163. (sign also says Vashon Ferry..in really small letters)
Go straight through light at end of off ramp. At second light take a Right onto Pearl Street and follow until it ends at the park (five way stop). The ferry entrance is a soft Right(just past the go-carts)--you will see the ticket booth.
On island: Follow Vashon Highway heading North for approximately 2 miles, road will Y, Take Left onto Wax Orchard Road. Follow Wax Orchard Rd until it Ts at SW 220th St, Take Rt. You will see field on Right-- soon after you turn. Turn Rt on Old Mill Rd for entrance. (approximately 10 minutes from the dock).
From the North:
I-5 South to Exit 163 A the West Seattle Bridge Ext.
West Seattle Way becomes Fauntleroy Way...follow it for approx. 6 miles through the West Seattle neighborhood. Once you pass the big park on the right you will need to be on the lookout for the ferry line. In rush hour this car line runs along the street next to the park. The dock is at the bottom of the hill soon after the park. If there is no line you just go right to the dock.
On island: Stay on Vashon Highway for approximately 6 miles to the 3rd 4-way stop (there is a restaurant called Sound Food on the corner) This is SW 204th.
Take a Right on 204th. Road will take a sharp left and then sharp right before it changes into SW 220th.
Take Left on Old Mill Rd, you’ll see the field!
